Flowers delivered to Stonava from Karviná
Stonava lies in the Karviná area of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is first mentioned in 1388. In 2000, it received the Village of the Year title for the Moravian-Silesian Region.
The Roman Catholic Church of St Mary Magdalene, built between 1906 and 1910, is a cultural monument, and a pilgrimage is held there every July. In Holkovice, part of Stonava, stands a Protestant church dating from 1938, opposite a Protestant cemetery established in 1858. In February 2026, the last cart of hard coal was brought up from the ČSM Mine, ending coal mining across the Czech Republic.
AMVOR is based in Karviná. From there, it delivers flowers to Stonava as well. A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at home, at work, at school or wherever they are staying.
